I had a wonderful time exploring the city of Torrance. I truly enjoy Torrance because it’s much more quiet and less crowded than LA. There are so many food options and things to do. It’s the perfect city for single travelers, group travelers, and families. I loved that I could hang out in Torrance during the day and then take an Uber/Lyft to Hollywood/DTLA in the evening to meet with friends.
I had a pleasant stay at Miyako Hybrid Hotel, a Japanese style hotel. It made me feel like I was in Japan again. They have proper Japanese bidets and use aveda products. The bed was so comfortable that I couldn’t help but take a few cat naps throughout the day. The hotel is located in a great location, walking distance to Mitsuwa, 85 degrees bakery, and so much more. There’s a lot of parking too if you plan to rent a car.
